CLASSES

Boot Camp

APF Boot camp consists of calisthenics, plyometrics, cardiovascular endurance, core strengthening, and bodyweight exercises as well as flexibility and mobility work. In order for clients to achieve their peak fitness level, classes are designed to in incorporate all aspects of fitness: strength, endurance, speed, power, balance and flexibility. Boot Camp is a well rounded fitness program is important in preventing injuries and to achieve maximum fitness gains.

Strength Camp

Strength Camp is our specialty boot camp that focuses on strength training. We use bodyweight, progressive calisthenics, dumbbells and medicine balls to help you burn fat, get strong, and get lean. Strength Camp will help you change your body faster than anything your could do on your own.

Butts and Guts


We start off the class with HIIT Cardio, which will build muscular strength and improve cardiovascular fitness through various exercises performed at specific intervals. We finish with an awesome Butts and Guts Workout to train and tighten all regions of the lower body and core with this toning class. Workout will focus on the abs, glutes, legs, and lower back using light weights and body resistance

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training has you work as hard as you can for a set amount of time alternating with set amounts of rest. This class is for beginners to advanced, it is a high intensity cardio workout. You will be burning for hours after this type of workout.Often our HIIT class consists of a 20/10 traditional Tabata that everyone enjoys. If you don't enjoy steady passed cardio, you will love tabata because it goes by quickly and keeps your body in a fat burning state for hours afterwards!

HIIT w/KIDS

During our HIIT w/KIDS we focus on keeping an active cardio class while also having fun and playing a variety of games in order to keep the kids' attention while also not allowing them to get so drained that they cannot continue. Adults work in teams with the kids to complete tasks quicker than the opposing teams. Through team-work and friendly competition and relays, the kids grow to enjoy the workout and look forward to watching themselves improve each week. We see the importance of  learning that fitness should also be fun. If you want to share your healthy lifestyle with your children, HIIT w/KIDS is a must! *Adults also get a great cardio workout, as their moves are different than those required of the children.*

Extreme Camp

In Extreme Camp we use functional movements that are constantly varied at high intensity. It is a core strength and conditioning program, and is constantly changing to challenge your body. A wide variety of weights and equipment are used in advanced ways to push your body to the limits. We do not suggest taking this class unless you are extremely fit or have been involved in our boot camp or strength camp classes for at least 3 months.

Strength/Endurance/Agility

Work on your strength, endurance and agility. This class is great for just an all over workout, if you are training for an Obstacle Race or a TaMaarta Challenge. This class works on functional fitness. Good for all levels of fitness, modifications are given if needed.


Class Schedule

Barre

Barre is an isometric toning workout that will get your muscles shaking quickly. We use movements (derived from Ballet) that reach muscles that we do not typically use in everyday life or during strength training. Small movements are used to fire up muscles and stretching is done with each muscle group through out the class, focusing on long lean muscle growth. Unlike some Barre studios, we do not require you to purchase any special clothing or socks for our Barre class. Come as you are! Socks or bare feet are welcome!

TCX

When we combined cardio, core, and full-body resistance training we got TCX – a Total Body Conditioning workout. TCX uses a variety of equipment, weights, and cardiovascular exercises to burn calories, increase your strength, and improve your definition while working your muscular endurance. This intense athletic workout will put your muscular strength and endurance to the test!

(Workout gloves are recommended but not required for this class)

Yoga

The yoga we use is Gentle yoga. Gentle yoga is a style of yoga that is far less strenuous than other forms. It is less intense, so it can be very useful for people who are not capable of fulfilling the demands of other practices, such as seniors, women who are pregnant, practitioners who are recovering from injury, those who are in very poor physical condition, or even those who are simply looking for a more relaxed workout. This practice can also be beneficial to those who already are quite fit but who lack the overall flexibility to be able to do some of the more intense yoga poses.
